takeUntil

Introduction

takeUntil completes an Observable when a notifier Observable emits. It’s the standard pattern for subscription cleanup.

Example

export class MyComponent implements OnDestroy {
  private destroy$ = new Subject<void>();

    this.service.data$.pipe(
      takeUntil(this.destroy$)
    ).subscribe(data => this.data = data);
